Customize Your Music Dashboard

The Savant Music dashboard is more personalized than ever, allowing you to organize and showcase your preferred streaming platforms, albums, and more so that everything is easy to recall. When you open the Savant Music home screen, you’ll see a list of all the music selections you’ve been enjoying recently. Simply swipe through the selection and tap one to return to your tunes.

Just below, add your preferred streaming platforms, albums, and playlists to the home bar for quick access to your favorites. When you want to switch it up, tap and hold to delete a saved selection on the home bar or drag and drop to rearrange the order.

Find Your Music in a Snap

The sheer amount of content available to you across multiple streaming services is astonishing—and often overwhelming when you’re looking for a particular artist, song, or podcast episode. Savant’s new powerful search tool helps you get to the content you want right away.

The search tool provides results from every service you have added to your music server. Tap the filter options to find what you need: artist, album, track, station, playlist, podcast, or show. For example, if you tap the artist filter and type in “Elvis,” Savant will call up a list of all artists containing that name across all streaming platforms at once within one simple interface.

Take Advantage of Spotify Connect

Love navigating the Spotify app? You can bring the Savant Music and Spotify experiences together by taking advantage of Spotify Connect. Open your Spotify app, select your content, then tap the Room Group icon to share your Spotify content with Savant Music. You’ll see the rooms you’ve created through the Savant Pro app right within the Spotify app so that you don’t have to exit Spotify to select where you want to listen. This convenient way to distribute music works with AirPlay, too.

Don’t Forget to Add Music to Scenes

No matter how you like to listen to music, don’t forget to create a soundtrack to match every moment by adding music to your Savant smart home scenes! Create a “Party Time” scene that tunes your lights to vibrant blue and purple hues and starts a party playlist throughout the house. Add a calming jazz playlist to your “Relax” scene, which also warms and dims your lighting and turns down the thermostat.
